Transportation In Animals

Transportation In Animals

  • Blood It is a fluid Connective tissue which is consists of Plasma,Red Blood Cells(RBC). Now let us study in detail about the components of Blood.
    1. Plasma
      • It is a fluid medium.
      • Its work is to transport food , Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogenous waste in dissolved form.
    2. Red Blood Cells
      • RBCs are red in colour.
      • Its work is to transport oxygen. The oxygen is transported by haemoglobin which is present in Red Blood Cells and it has higher affinity to oxygen.

    Heart

The heart has chambers to prevent the mixing of oxygenated blood with blood containing Cardon Dioxide i.e Deoxygenated blood.

    Transport of Oxygenated Blood

Oxygenated blood from lungs come by pulmunary Veins and when Left atrium relax then oxygenated blood come inside of left atrium then left atrium contracts and the blood now is transfered to left ventricle at the same time when left atrium contracts left ventricle relax and blood is filled inside left ventricle and then left ventricle contracts and then the blood is supplied to whole body Through aorta.

    Transport of Deoxygented blood

Deoxygenated blood came from rest of body through ven cava and it come inside the Right atrium, when Right atrium of heart relaxes. and then it contracts and now deoxygenated bloob goes to right ventricle. This right ventricle relaxes at the same time when right atrium contracts. and then right ventricle contracts and now blood is transfered to lungs through pulmunary arteries.
