Lymphatic tissue and its function
It is an extracellular fluid.
It have a special type of WBC called lymphocytes present in lymph nodes.
Through The pores present in the walls of capillaris some amount of plasma, protein and blood cells escape into intercellular space to form lymph or tissue fluid or lymphatic tissueee.
Lymphatic tissue or tissue fluid contains less proteins in compare to blood vessels.
Lymph or tissue fluid drains into lymphatic capilaries which then together form lymph vessel that finally open in large veins.
lymphatic tissue is a colourless fluid.
Functions
Lymphatic tissue or lymph carry digested and absorbed fat from intestine and drains it excess fluid from extra cellular space back into the bloodddd is the blood.
Its function is to protect the body by killing germs through lymphatic tissue.
It also helps in removal of waste products like dead cells etc.
Transfer of Oxygen
Air taken in by nostrils which have fine hairs that filters the air The lining has mucus which helps The ring of cartilage present in throught ensures that air-passage does not collapse within the lungs the passage divides into smaller and smaller tubes which finally terminate to a ballon like structure called alveoli. Alveoli provides a surface for exchange of gases. alveoli wall are cnnected to an extensive network of blood vessels which brings the rest of bodies Carbon Dioxide to alveoli and here the exchange of gases taken place.
Oxygen gas is transfered by Haemoglobin which is present in Red blood Cells As haemoglobin has higher affinity for oxygen.
Cardon Dioxide gas is dissolved in water easily so it is transfered by plasma directly.
